The University of Southampton is a public, research-intensive university and a member of the prestigious Russell Group (often likened as the ‘UK Ivy League’). Based on the south coast of England, and just over one hour away from London, Southampton offers students a close-knit campus experience in a lively college city of around 250,000 people.

Southampton is a global top 100 University (QS World Rankings 2020) with over 300 Majors; some of those we are most renowned for globally include Engineering, Computer Science, Marine Biology and Music.

Our degrees are taught by world leading faculty and are typically three years in length, with specialization in your chosen Major from day one of your degree. You can also opt for a four year degree to achieve both a Bachelors and a Masters, or five years for a Bachelors, Masters and a Co-op year.
